Delicious food and super friendly staff.

Were there spontaneously on a Sunday. Reserved by phone shortly beforehand. The staff was very friendly and the food was delicious (had Schäufele, sauerbraten and goose breast)! Relatively high prices for the rural location, but still reasonable and the food is worth it. We had two small children with us and organizing two high chairs was no problem 👍 Should we be in the area again, we'd love to come back.

We only came here for coffee and cake after a great hike. The cake and apple strudel and also the cappuccino were very tasty. We'll definitely try the food too. The inn makes a very well-kept and structured impression. The staff was very nice and child-friendly.

Great food, great hostess / service.

The inn is located directly on the main street and is barrier-free. Very good Franconian cuisine and super attentive and very friendly staff. No long waiting times, even with a high number of visitors. We recommend.

Bright, friendly and clean guest rooms! The staff is very attentive, friendly and quick. Coffee and homemade cakes were great! Corona received a lot of attention, which I think is good. I can recommend visiting again at any time! In Franconian, fits schoo!

Food is great and the staff friendly, accommodating and on the ball. The restaurant is wheelchair friendly thanks to the entrance at ground level. Price performance is right here completely. Points deduction: The volume level in the guest room is very high when fully occupied. Perhaps one or the other object would be attached here for decoration so that the volume is broken. There are plenty of parking spaces, but the markings are missing. Whereby the waste of space could also fail due to certain driving skills. The chair and bench covers are in the 70s style, optically a bit old, but serve their purpose. Otherwise very recommendable and gladly again.

Our favorite pub! The food is delicious and there is something for every taste. Warm staff and a cozy atmosphere. Whether with family, friends or just as a couple, the Gasthof Herbst is always worth a visit!

Super parish fair. You can tell the master baker in the company. The next time there is a strudel, since a "Viennese Strudel Diploma" is hanging next to the master craftsman's certificate.

Absolutely not family friendly! We have never felt so undesirable! It's a shame, dinner with our friends at Gasthof Herbst turned into a nuisance! Had the children not been so hungry, we would certainly have left the inn without food. We have never seen anything like it before! Gasthof Herbst will NEVER see us and the families we were there with again.

Surprise!!! 😀 Anyone who thinks there is nothing to eat in Franconia after 2 p.m. and before 5 p.m. has not yet been to Gasthof Herbst. Very tasty 😋 and plentiful. It's a shame that I can only give 5 stars

Franconian food is everywhere but with the Ziegler family it's best. Young service team is quick, friendly, super friendly, also sees empty plates to take away. As a guest, you get a smile for free despite the mask. Thank you very much. See you soon

Good food, good price

Very nice staff, food delicious. There was hardly any shade in the beer garden, but the service immediately organized and set up a parasol upon request.

Despite Corona precautions, we felt very comfortable. Excellent pizza, lovely friendly staff. We recommend. Unfortunately forgot to photograph the pizza.

Hello to the Gasthof Herbst ..... One week ago we were spoiled for choice, which inn should it be? Where would we like to eat something? We have chosen you and have not regretted it for a second. Food was great, service friendly, fast and very accommodating. Corona rules (let's call them that), implemented absolutely cleanly. We felt very comfortable with you and should we be back from Switzerland to Betzenstein, you are the first choice. Best regards and keep going ......

Great food, friendly service, delicious draft beer. The beer garden is not the screamer, it is also right on the street.

Good food, good service and nice service. Corona rules implemented well. Beer garden less idyllic, hardly any natural shade and located directly on the thoroughfare.

Great menu, lots of choice between pork, beef, fish and poultry. I had duck breast with dumplings. Fabulous! Friendly service, good prices. Will be back.

Lunch is quite good. The cakes are great.

A wonderful small franconian restaurant. They also operate a hotel here too. The food was great! I will visit here again! Two thumbs up!!
